Bio
Range: As a proud member of SAG-AFTRA, you never know who I’ll be next - from a fun, quirky mom rapturously recounting tales of her pregnancies to an expecting, and increasingly horrified mother in “Pregnancy The Web Series,” to the fierce and emphatic Dr. Kate Collins taking out the local power sub-station to prove her point as a “good guy” hacker in the film White Hats - I relish the challenge.
Education: I have studied, and continue to study, with LA’s master teachers. I am currently in training with Annie Chang of Pearlman Acting Academy. Additionally, I’ve trained with UCB (improv), Lisa Popeil (voice), Bill Holmes (voiceover) and Jonathan Klein (commercials). Also, I recently completed a “gun safety for actors” course with Maurice Meredith (@mauricemarvel). Finding training and education paramount for any actor, I support the idea that “if you’re not working, then you should be working or you won’t be working.”
Work: I actively work theatrically and commercially. Most recently I’ve played a doctor, a mother and a homeowner. My work in Indie films includes a role as a hippie motel-owner, who haunts her own establishment, in La Llarona Motor Inn, the estranged mother of three children trying to reestablish ties in Rancid Relations and a deeply depressed mother healing with the help of her concerned daughter in Seeds.
Unique & Unexpected: I speak Spanish and enjoy when people don’t expect that from a 6 ft blonde. The benefit of living abroad several times since very young has gifted me a great ear for language and accents. My appreciation for body awareness and form come easily since I am a pilates teacher and an avid equestrian - dressage and, sometimes polo. Thankfully, I get to assuage my horse jones by living in the Burbank Rancho Equestrian neighborhood where I am able to ride regularly. And, as far as music goes, in addition to singing, I am an inexpert ukulele player.
